Out of many books I have on Mary Magdalene this one is very suited to group discussion. Jack Angelo is very convinced that the 4th gospel of John is actually written by Mary Magdalene. Whether or not you believe that or not he presents an interesting case for his theory. The book discusses his personal journey with Mary Magdalene and breaks down the gospel of John sharing his interpretation of the underlying messages that are part of that gospel. The teachings are profound and directed towards a deeper inner awareness.
